Sid Ketchum AFistful Of Cards + anothor situation

Hello.

I have some questions about this character.

If Sid Ketchum has full life points, can he discard 2 cards and grains 0 life point?

Whatever he can use his ability anyever, is it possible do if he has 2 card, is out his turn, and nobody use anything to cause lost his last life point.

Example:
Sid has 2 life point and 1 card in hand and somebody plays GENERAL STORE. He know, next player is Jesse Jones/Flint Westwood, so can he discard 2 card now to grians 1 life point before Jesse/Flint comes on his turn with possibility to taking card from Sid?

Can Sid discard 2,4,6, ...card to grain any life points unter his max, before he comes on turn to avoid effect of AFOC?

Yes, he can!

Yes, he can!

Yes, he can!

He cannot use his ability just when an effect is "pending", ex. Sid has got 2 cards and an opponent has already played Panic/Cat Balou on him, he has to wait till the end of the effect before to use his ability, and at the end he will have only 1 card and cannot activate his ability anymore.
